At least two exams per academic year. Each is 90 minutes and 40 marks, scaled to 20; the best two performances are averaged.
At least two exams, each lasting 3 hours: synopsis 10, experiments 50, viva 10 and practical record 10, totalling 80 marks.
These are scaled to 10 using the best two performances. The other 10 come from assignments and field-visit reports: 5 each when both apply, or 10 for the single applicable activity. If neither applies, all 20 come from sessionals.
ER-2020 requires at least 40% in theory and practical separately for each subject, including sessional marks.
For exam eligibility, attend at least 75% of theory classes and practical classes separately in each subject.

The diploma includes practical training in addition to the practical classes in 1st and 2nd year. Here's what PCI ER-2020 specifies.

Students become eligible after appearing in the Part II examination. Training takes place in eligible government hospitals or dispensaries, licensed retail pharmacies with registered pharmacists, or other hospitals and dispensaries recognised by PCI for training.

Under PCI ER-2020, 1st year carries 1,000 marks: 500 theory and 500 practical. 2nd year carries 1,100 marks: 600 theory and 500 practical. Each theory or practical paper has 80 final-exam marks and 20 internal-assessment marks. Pharmacy Law & Ethics has no practical paper.
Yes. PCI ER-2020 includes Part III practical training of at least 500 hours over at least three months, with at least 250 hours spent dispensing prescriptions. It is additional to the academic practical classes. Students become eligible after appearing in the Part II examination and arrange training through their institution under the prescribed conditions.
